Carraig Donn x Cancer Fund for Children
Carraig Donn is thrilled to announce a new charity partnership with Cancer Fund for Children for 2026, committing to raise significant funds throughout the year to support families affected by childhood cancer.
Cancer Fund for Children is currently developing a multimillion-euro therapeutic short break centre for families living with a childhood cancer diagnosis in Cong, Co. Mayo. The facility, to be known as Daisy Lodge, will be the second of its kind. Families from across the island currently avail of short breaks at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down.
Daisy Lodge will provide families with the opportunity to spend precious time together and create lasting memories away from the challenges of treatment and hospital visits. Due to open in Spring 2027, the centre will increase the number of children and parents supported every year with a short break from 1,800 to 4,000.
The charity also provides support in family homes and within the community in every county across Ireland, as well as on hospital wards in Dublin and Belfast. This vital support helps ensure that no child has to face cancer alone, and it would not be possible without the support of local businesses and communities.

Fundriaing Activities
Carraig Donn will host a series of fundraising initiatives during 2026. The goal is to raise over €100k.
Online Draw in Association with Sunway Holidays
The firist fundraising activity will be an online draw powered by iDonate to win a “Win a Holiday for Two to Sunny Spain” in association with Sunway Holidays! There will also be a second prize to win a €500 Style Session with the Carraig Donn Stylist! Tickets for the draw will be priced at €5 for 1 or €10 for 3! Limited tickets will be available, it is recommended to purhcase early to be in with a chance to win the amazing prizes! Terms and conditions will apply regarding regarding travel dates and booking terms, all details will be listed on the iDonate platform. Tickets will go on sale from Sunday May 3rd and will be available for two weeks (ending Sunday May 17th)! The winners will be picked via the iDonates winner selector tool and will be announced on Monday 18th.
Customer Donations In Stores & Online
Customers, both online and in-store, will have the opportunity to donate €1 as part of their purchase. The micro-donations will be powered by established charity Pennies which is regulated by the Fundraising Regulator.
Team Engagements & Events
Through this partnership, Carraig Donn hopes to mobilise staff, customers and communities nationwide to help support families affected by childhood cancer and contribute towards the creation of life-changing experiences at Daisy Lodge. A number of events and activities are planned throughout the year to raise funds across Carraig Donn's 43 Stores Nationwide.
Exclusive Charity Products
Cararig Donn plan to launch a number of exclusive charity products later in the year which will see a limited number of the charity products available for purchase with all proceeds of the sales going to the charity.
