Orders

Once you have added items to your cart, proceed to the checkout where you will be prompted of our available delivery methods. Choosing store delivery will allow you to select your desired location. Once your order is placed you will receive an order confirmation email.

Click & Collect is a free service.

Your order will be delivered in approximately 3 working days via our courier partner, An Post. You will receive an email/text from An Post once your parcel has been delivered in-store.

This free service is available on most items but not all. Large, heavy goods are available for home delivery through our website. Gift cards are not available for purchase through this service but can be purhcased from any Carraig Donn store nationwide.

You can collect your parcel by bringing your Carraig Donn confirmation email with your order number to any of our pay points or by asking a member of our team to assist you.

You will need to bring your Carraig Donn order confirmation email which includes your order number with you either printed or on your mobile device.

Click & Collect deliveries are held for 7 days from the date they arrive in-store. After 7 days your order will be refunded and no longer available at your store of choice.

For larger items e.g. small furniture, please collect as soon as possible.

Once you have placed your order and receive your confirmation email, we are unable to change the delivery status.

Gift cards can be redeemed online

One4All gift cards are accepted in-store only and not redeemable online

Loyalty cards are currently an instore only incentive and points are therefore not offered online.

If a gift card has been redeemed online and you wish to return an item purchased with this, please retain your original gift card.

Provided the return is unworn, unused and in its original packaging we will then refund the full amount back on to the gift card.

We are unable to cancel an order once you have received your confirmation email.


You can return any unsuitable item(s) within 30 days of receipt of your order for a refund within 14 days.

We are unable to change/amend an order once you have received your confirmation email.

This includes all order details.

Check if you have received an order confirmation email from us. This would be sent as soon as you place your order. If you have not received an order confirmation email, let us know and we can check the status of the payment for you.

Delivery normally takes 3-5 working days, this may take longer at busy periods (i.e. Black Friday, Christmas).
During busy periods allow up to 7-10 working days for dispatch of your order. Orders outside of ROI may take longer.

Simply check the online tracking for your order by clicking on the link in your shipping email from us. If it shows item delivered, but you have not received anything, you should firstly:

· Check if anyone at your address has signed for the parcel

· Check around your property as the parcel may have been left in a safe place, for example your porch or letterbox or with a neighbour.

· Check if a calling card has been left. If you were not at home to accept delivery, the driver should leave a card with their contact details and you can arrange the redelivery yourself

If you’re unable to locate the parcel, please let us know and we can help you.

Sometimes an item can be sent separately. If an item is missing from your parcel, please check your delivery note as you should be advised if an item will be sent later.

If this is not the case, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help you.

Most of our products are available for delivery outside the Republic of Ireland but not all. A small number of fragile products are affected by this.

You will be notified at the checkout if one of these products are within your cart.

You can return unsuitable item(s) within 30 days of receipt of your order. All returned items must be unworn, unused and in their original packaging with all return documents using the code that best explains the reason for your return.

Please allow up to 14 working days for refunds to be processed.

Click & Post offers a quick and easy way to buy your postage labels or book a shopping return online. Click on retailer and use your order number for Retailer order reference. Flat charge fee of €4.50.

2. Return via Post Office (Republic of Ireland and International)

You can return item(s) by sending your returned items to: Carraig Donn Trading, Online Returns Department, Innovation House, Moneen Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo F23 E400

3. Carraig Donn Store (Republic of Ireland only)

Our stores can refund items when payment type has been credit/debit card or a gift card.

Purchases made in-store cannot be returned directly to Online. If you wish to return a product that was originally purchased in-store, you can return to any of our physical stores nationwide.

We are sorry, we do not offer an exchange service though our online store. However, you can simply return any unsuitable items to us for a full refund as per our Returns Policy and place a new order for the item(s) you want.

Exchanges are offered instore only for items within a 28 day period.

No, unfortunately as we do offer free delivery on all orders over €59 within the Republic of Ireland, we do not cover the postage cost of returned items to our online store.


We advise that when returning items to us that you used a secure form of delivery as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.


If it is the case that you have been sent the wrong items please contact online@carraigdonn.com for further advice.

If you choose to return any items by post, we will inspect them to ensure that they are unworn and fit for resale. We will then send you an email, to inform you that your items have arrived and that your account will be credited within 14 days.

If you return your items in-store, we will check them to ensure that they are fit for re-sale.

We can then process your refund or facilitate an exchange (instore only).

Once an item has been refunded you will receive an email notification. Please allow up to 14 working days for refunds to be processed.



If you made your original payment with a card that is now expired or cancelled, please contact your bank. The refund will always be processed to your original method of payment and can’t be sent to another card.

Please keep the tracking number for your returned parcel until you have received your refund – you may be asked to provide this if we've not received your item(s) and you may need to file a claim with the postal service directly.

Please note if you are returning an item from the UK, this can take up to 3 weeks to clear customs before being returned to our Online Returns Department.

Any breakages or damages to items purchased online must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. If a product is damaged in any way please send us proof of the damage with photos to online@carraigdonn.com where a member of our team will help you.

If a physical gift card has been redeemed online and you wish to return an item purchased with this, please retain your original gift card. Provided the return is unworn, unused and in its original packaging we will then refund the full amount back on to the gift card!

For hygiene reasons we are unable to offer an exchange or refund on a small number of products outlined below.

We also cannot offer exchanges or refunds on Ear Buds, Smartwatches or Smart Bracelets (purchased online & in-store) that have been opened, used or synced with a smartphone.


Lingerie and Shapewear

In the interest of hygiene, al other lingerie and shapewear cannot be returned unless labels are attached and packaging is in its original condition.

If you wish to return this product, it must be in new, unused, and unworn condition with tags attached (where applicable) and in original packaging. It is our policy to return goods to the purchaser if we suspect that any product has been used or worn.

Gift Set Returns Policy

If you wish to return a gift set, all items must be returned and in a new, unused, and unworn condition with tags attached (where applicable) and in original packaging. It is our policy to return goods to the purchaser if we suspect that any product has been used or worn.

In the interest of safety and hygiene, personal grooming products, hats, shapewear, tights, earrings, duvets, duvet covers, sheets, pillows, pillowcases that may be included within any giftset cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened or damaged, unless faulty.

With your original receipt, items can be refunded within 7 days of purchase and exchanged within 28 days of purchase. Refunds can only be issued in the form of original payment method. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Sale purchases made in-store cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Our Mailer Bags are made from 80% recycled materials.

We now use a innovative paper tape to secure your parcel, which is fully recyclable and is made with materials from renewable resources.

Yes, all our boxes are FSC Certified, meaning they meet with the gold standard of ethical production. The wood used to make the boxes is harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious and economically viable.

All our boxes are 100% recyclable and made in Ireland reducing there carbon footprint.

Aran Woollen Mills is a sister company of Carraig Donn based in Westport Co Mayo. The business manufactures 100% natural and bio-degradable woollen products right here in Ireland.

The business was founded in Westport by Maura Hughes in 1965 with the mission of supporting skilled jobs in the west of Ireland as well as keeping the important heritage and craft of Aran knitting alive.

Better Cotton is a non-profit organisation that trains cotton farmers worldwide on more sustainable farming practices. This includes efficient water use, care for natural habitats, reduced use of harmful chemicals, and respectful rights of workers. Cotton sourced from Better Cotton farms then gets mixed with conventional cotton throughout production via a chain of custody system called mass balance. Products sourced via the system of mass balance therefore may not contain Better Cotton.

Pilgrim have 2 new recycled collections – LEAF & BLOSSOM

ABOUT LEAF & BLOSSOM
Made from at least 75% recycled material.

What is recycled?
The core of their products – i.e. the majority of the final piece – is recycled. It is made of either zinc or brass.

What is not recycled?
Small parts such as clasps, beads and stones are not recycled.

In some cases, the gold or silver plating is recycled, but this is not always the case.

How can we be sure that at least 75% of the material has been recycled?
All products are tested twice using external tests.

All products receive a certificate stating the specific percentage of recycled materials they contain.

What does ‘minimum’ 75% mean?
They use 75% as the lowest common denominator for their products made from recycled material. They do this even though some of their pieces contain up to 95% recycled material. For example, rings are typically made from almost 100% recycled material, whereas earrings or necklaces with pendants or stones and beads usually have a slightly lower percentage of recycled material. However, common to ALL products made from recycled material is that at least 75% of the material used has been recycled.

Max Benjamin is a family owned, candle-making studio situated in the Wicklow mountains surrounded by rambling scented hedgerows and breathtaking scenery.

They use 100% soy wax in all their candles as it is more environmentally friendly and produces a cleaner burn than paraffin wax. The wicks used are made from lead free Italian cotton and the their wooden diffuser reeds are sustainably sourced.

Their candle and diffuser vessels are glass and fully recyclable and have refill options available for many elements within the range to help customers reuse these so they can be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Their packaging is kept to a minimum and is fully recyclable in keeping with their efforts to be as sustainable as they possibly can.
