Cancer Fund for Children Charity Products
Carraig Donn launched a year-long fundraising campaign with a goal of raising over €250,000 to support families affected by childhood cancer
Cancer Fund for Children is currently developing a multimillion-euro therapeutic short break centre for families living with a childhood cancer diagnosis. The facility, to be known as Daisy Lodge, will provide families with the opportunity to spend precious time together and create lasting memories away from the challenges of treatment and hospital visits. The centre is due to open in May 2027.

A key focus of the partnership is supporting Daisy Lodge Mayo, the charity's second therapeutic short-break centre, due to open in 2027. The facility will offer families a place to rest, recover and reconnect away from the demands of treatment and hospital visits, significantly increasing the number of families who can from therapeutic breaks each year.
Carraig Donn says it is honoured to collaborate with the charity and support its mission to provide vital emotional and practical support for families during one of the most in their lives. The goodwill and energy behind the campaign across Carraig Donn employees and customers has been unbelievable.

Carraig Donn Fundraising Efforts
Customer Donations were launched in stores & online in June. All customers shopping in Carraig Donn are asked as part of their checkout process if they would like to donate a euro to Cancer Fund for Children. The donation rate so far has exceeded all expectation and has raised over 100k in a short period of time.
Carraig Donn teams around the country have hosted tea days,fashion shows and there is a plan to dedicate the annual Christmas Jumper Day to Cancer Fund for Childrenwith a range of fun activities planned.
Carraig Donn have teamed up with Roseanna Ruane, who is known for her amazing fundraising projects in the past, to launch two exclusive products where all proceeds from the sales of the item (not just the profits) will go to Cancer Fund for Children. The charity products are from two of Carraig Donn’s bestselling brands West Quay & Éidin. Tune into Roseanna’s social channels for details on how to purchase the charity products.
The first item, a West Quay Fleece, will launch exclusively online this Sunday October 18th at 8am. The fleece comes in two colourways, candy pink & sorbet yellow, available in sizes 8 to 16 and retails at €40 each. The colour selection of the fleeces were intentional to inspire, uplift and symbolise youth. The fleeces are perfect for the Irish climate, for off duty style and lets face it, who doesn’t love a good fleece!
