Join us online this Sunday 8th November for our #HereForHer campaign with Activist Vicky Phelan and Broadcaster Sile Seoige.
Sile and Vicky will take over our social channels, to chat about life during the pandemic, societal change and the important issues facing Irish women today.
Our chosen charity is the Mayo Rape Crisis Centre. Unfortunately, the demand for sexual violence services has increased due to the circumstances of the pandemic. We wanted to lend our platform to a cause which is often swept to one side, and one which desperately needs more resources to support women in our communities.
The Rape Crisis Movement is a national issue with local branches. These local charities listen to, support and empower women who have suffered this type of abuse.
